Located in Encinitas, this beach is secluded, yet easily accessed from a nearby parking area and neighborhood streets. Moonlight State Beach has a children’s playground, snack bar, picnic area, small grassy park, fire pits, volleyball courts, and a permanent life guard station.

At north end is Dog Beach, along with picnic area in Sunset Park, volleyball nets, and restrooms.
